YACHT SIROCCO SALE

BACKGROUND

After 12 years of owning Sirocco, it’s with a heavy heart that I have to say goodbye to her as I now mostly live outside of Hong Kong. Sirocco is well known to many sailors in Hong Kong as she was the primary training yacht for my RYA sailing school. The school has now been passed onto the RHKYC, but I retained Sirocco. The yacht itself was built in 2001 and is one of the original Bavaria yachts, being built significantly stronger than yachts built today. Over the years I have invested heavily in her maintenance, including new standing rigging in 2021, refurbishment of her main engine and saildrive, new rudder bearings, new side windows and upgrades to the electrical systems. She is truly a go anywhere yacht, easy to handle (even single handed) and she can take on any weather.

VALUATION

Please see the documents below of the independent inspections of the yacht. In late 2023 she was valued at USD200k. Any reasonable offer will be considered.
